| If you tell me, I forget. Show me, I remember. Involve me, I understand., Confucius, Strategist |

In this style the student forms a partnership with one other student and they work together on the objectives. Each student must produce their own work. These students must be able to teach each other, engage in discussion, share ideas, come to a consensus, stay focused and make good decisions. This is a style most students find difficult to work in. The ability to pair themselves with a partner is usually not the problem but, the ability to pair themselves with someone else who is compatible to their learning characteristics is the issue. These students like to talk things out, need to hear what someone else has to say about the idea and can be competitive (so long as your working, I’m working; if your pencil is moving, my pencil is moving).
