This course offers the fundamentals of teaching education. “How does YOUR child learn?” Tap into a child’s learning style so that your student remains engaged in learning. Do you ever feel like they “just don’t hear you”? This course “Engaging your Student” will enable you to communicate in a way that will be understood by the child so that you may deliver their education while motivating them with the desire to learn.

Lesson and Class Time Management (TT-tm1101)
This course has been designed to teach you techniques and strategies so that you may spend less time preparing, and more time completing lessons with the students. Being organized is critical to a child’s educational success. Learn how to be more efficient, use your time effectively, be a good role model and enjoy personal success. Use your skills to effectively and integrate the school curriculum into your everyday applications.
Teaching the Teacher – Teacher Training Level 1 (TT-001)
Teacher Training will assist you in developing teacher strategies, and will give you valuable communication tools for your classroom. This program will educate you, so that you may keep children engaged in learning, while you customize their education based on their individual needs. Feel a sense of accomplishment and pride as the children experience personal achievement over their own education. Complete all this without changing the curriculum, as outlined by Alberta Learning.
Enhance your knowledge, develop strategies and teach your child “HOW to think, and not what to think”. This program has 8 certification levels, and is presently being taught only at Green Learning Academy. This is dynamic and interactive course will have you wishing you took it years ago.
Teaching the Teacher – Teacher Training Level 2 (TT-002)
Teacher Training Level 2 is offered in continuation of Level 1. In this course we spend more time developing lesson plans, examining children’s learning styles, and learning how to enhance their capabilities. Your teaching techniques and principle strategies are examined more closely. Move from instructor role to a teacher role, acknowledge the specialized needs and levels of learning. These proficiencies will offer you further educational success. This course is an expansion of theory, philosophy and program complexity.
