Students who want learn on their own, explore concepts further and enjoy getting lost in their work choose this style. They are saying stay out of my space, let me go and, check in on me every once in awhile to make sure I’m on the right track. These students understand how they learn, make independent decisions and can utilize resources. Students choosing this style need to decide how to learn the material, plan, evaluate projects, problem solve, extend the learning and create enrichment activities. They usually complete the unit several classes ahead of the Command and Task students resulting in them getting Earned Time.
