"I strongly believe that Green Learning Academy offers an exceptional educational program, one that is vastly superior to that offered by the public system. Our son struggled while in the public system. He was not challenged, felt unsafe due to physical harm while at school, and as a result he was losing his love for learning and his self-esteem was suffering. We felt if we didn’t make a change he would lose that innate love of learning that all children have.
Green Learning Academy caught our attention with their philosophy of Teaching children how to think not what to think. I feel strongly that in this day and age that is a very important skill that is completely overlooked by the public system. I can see my children growing every day as a result of this core statement.
The small classes, caring individualized programming, and the tools to allow the children a maximum of independence have made a world of difference for our son and we see our daughter flourishing. The innovative teaching styles allow for all types of learning and exploring they would not get in a more traditional environment. Our children both feel like their teachers and all of the staff at the school care about them. We too feel that the staff all have the best interests of our children as a priority.
