"Every child should experience 'serendipity'; the search for one thing but, you find another." Jack Prelutsky.

WHAT ARE THE STUDENTS SAYING

"I like GLA because there is lots of fun things to do. Like Art and games in Math. You can make new friends in your class by talking to them and playing with them outside. There is a lot of new games to play like division and subtraction games. There are also lots of new computers for us to work on.

There are new people that come here and try the school out. The thing that I really like, are the new computers because at my old school we didn’t have any computers. My favorite thing about GLA is the new resources that you can do your work with. There are lots of pictures on the walls like our Mosaics and our Social Studies work. This makes me feel happy."

"There is a huge difference in the atmosphere here. There is a sense of safety and belonging. Students and teachers fell as if they are part of a group and are supported. This is not a place of competition but of camaraderie."
