Earned Time is a project of the student’s choosing that they get to work on once he or she completes of the unit. Earned Time is a motivator for students. The project can be about anything. The only rule of Earned Time is that it must show some type of learning. The Earned Time project does not need to be in the same subject area as the unit completed. It can be anything from building the battleship Galactic in Lego to researching a mythical creature to creating a guide on how to do a craft.
